Lake Baikal Ice
One of the prominent islands in Lake Baikal during the mid winter freeze over. Lake Baikal is in Siberia, Russia and, in spite of being 50 miles wide and 375 miles long, freezes over completely in the winter.
Shards
Shards of ice are common on Lake Baikal. During the freezing of the lake there can be relatively warmer temperatures where the wind and currents cause the forming ice sheets to break up and then refreeze.
Abiqua
Not the easiest fall to get to in central Oregon but one of the best. The iron colored basalt gives a special effect.
