This ancient Bristlecone Pine is leaning toward the center of the Milky Way - our galactic core.
At over 11,500 ft this graded dirt road gives a wide open view to the White Mountain area of the Sierra Nevada just above the Patriarch Grove of Bristlecone pines. The truck in the middle appears pretty small in this vast scenery.
This simple bridge displays well with Hot Creek in the foreground and the eastern Sierra mountain range as a backdrop.
